The Techbed Mini

The Techbed Mini was designed by Philippa from her own experience. Playing games on her mobile phone for any length of time resulted in sore fingers and thumbs — so she came up with a simple solution.

These particular Techbed Minis have been made using surplus fabric. Rather than dispose of perfectly good fabric, we decided to turn it into Techbed Minis, giving you a wider choice and an even greater array of colours beyond our core range. They're available while stocks last.

Designed with modern large smartphones, Kindles, other eReaders, Amazon Fire HD 8 and other tablets up to 8" in mind, the Techbed Mini is lightweight and compact at 18cm × 18cm × 25cm. It's small enough to pop into a handbag and take with you to work, a coffee shop, on the train — or wherever you happen to be using your phone or tablet.

Whether you're watching a movie in bed, the football in the office (secretly, of course), tennis on the train, playing games or simply reading, the Techbed Mini is a brilliant little prop.

FaceTime? Goodness me. Hands-free with a glass of wine? Marvellous.

The Edge Beanbags Techbed Mini logo is attached in a loop, which can also be used to hold your reading glasses or a pen.

The Techbed Mini is compatible with a wide range of mobile phones, including the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 15, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13, Google Pixel 11, Google Pixel 11 Pro, Google Pixel 10, Google Pixel 10 Pro, Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, Google Pixel 8, Google Pixel 8 Pro, Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26+, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy A55, Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8, to name but a few.

For larger devices, take a look at the Techbed, designed for eReaders, iPads, tablets and books up to 10.9", or the Techbed Maxi, our largest Techbed, tested with tablets up to 14.6".

All of the Techbed range is handmade by Edge Beanbags in Wollaton, Nottingham, UK.

Love my techbaby

I absolutely love my techbaby! I was thrilled to learn of your company, I was experiencing hand pain from using my cell phone for hours. Now I take my Tech Bed Mini with me wherever I go. Thank you for your excellent service, making and sending this out with such clear communication. I am thrilled with your product. Thank you!!!

Great quality, very speedy delivery

Really nice and helpful people selling quality items, made with love. Highly recommend.

Canny. The absolute best solution for reading (and watching).

Firstly, the Techbed is such a versatile solution that I advise you to stop reading now, and buy one.
It's a right treat.
I read a lot and it's ideal for my kindle, my phone and a book I assume. It's also great as a support for your wrist if you are holding or using your phone. I rest my tea on it too, and it's great at holding a snack bowl when the cricket is on. You get the idea.
On top of all that you get some lovely and kind correspondence from the two Ps. Amazingly fast sewing and postage. And a good feeling that you are contributing to a small cottage industry. Supporting folks who devised a very sustainable solution to one of lifes little problems. Aye... It's canny, thank you so much guys.
