The Techbed Mini was designed by Philippa: from her own experience, playing games on her mobile phone for a length of a time, resulted in sore fingers and thumbs.

With not only modern day large smartphones, the kindle, other ebook readers, iPad Mini and 7" tablets in mind, the Techbed Mini is lightweight and small enough (18cm x 18cm x 25cm) to pop into a handbag to be used at work, in a coffee shop, on a train, anywhere.

Whether watching movies in bed, the football in the office, secretly of course, tennis on the train, playing games or simply reading, the Techbed Mini is a brilliant little prop. Facetime, goodness me. Handsfree with a glass of wine. Marvellous.

The Edge Beanbag Techbed Mini logo is in a loop so that it can be used to hold reading glasses or indeed a pen.

These Techbed Minis have been made from surplus fabric from both our own projects and also our main upholstery fabric supplier. Rather than dispose of the fabric, we decided to create Techbed Minis to create a wider choice and a further array of colour over and above our core range.

Firstly, the Techbed is such a versatile solution that I advise you to stop reading now, and buy one.
It's a right treat.
I read a lot and it's ideal for my kindle, my phone and a book I assume. It's also great as a support for your wrist if you are holding or using your phone. I rest my tea on it too, and it's great at holding a snack bowl when the cricket is on. You get the idea.
On top of all that you get some lovely and kind correspondence from the two Ps. Amazingly fast sewing and postage. And a good feeling that you are contributing to a small cottage industry. Supporting folks who devised a very sustainable solution to one of lifes little problems. Aye... It's canny, thank you so much guys.
