NHS Medical Vinyl Techbed Mini: Zoom, Facetime, mobile beanbag stand

A couple of weeks ago, we made Techbed Minis from our medical vinyl offcuts and gave them to a friend who is a senior sister at the Royal Surrey.

Last week, we received a request for the fabric specification and our fire certifications for manufacturing which we duly supplied.

It transpires that the Techbed Minis are being used by nurses who were holding zoom meetings on their mobiles either side of the "Covid Wall." By propping up their phones on a Techbed Mini, this freed up the nurses to take notes.

The Techbed Minis are also being used in ICU allowing families to check in with loved ones on facetime without the need of a nurse holding the phone.

We're quite chuffed that something designed and built by us, is working its' magic.
